Snags at the Creek
Our first event for 2023 - a wine tasting, gourmet snags and cheese at Kings Creek Vineyard
Kings Creek Vineyard, one of the earliest vineyards on the Peninsula, has been closed for many years. New owners, Kim and Ian Chapman have reopened the Cellar Door and are bringing the vines, planted in 1980 back under the Kings Creek label.
We will be tasting 8 of the Kings Creek wines, current (2021) vintage and some past vintages. We will then have gourmet sausages and Cheese platters overlooking the vines. You can purchase wine to have with your snags and cheese. You will find the standard price for the Kings Creek wines very reasonable and Kim and Ian are happy to offer you a 10% discount for purchases of 3 or more bottles of most of the wines.
If the weather is kind to us, we will have a delightful afternoon eating, drinking and chatting in the vines. If the weather is unkind, we will be set up in the Cellar Door area. There is ample on-site parking.
